MCA 21 Digital Certificate:
The Ministry of Company
Affairs (MCA), Govt of India,
is going live with its flagship
e-governance project –
MCA21. This project is set
to completely change the way
companies and individuals
interact with the Ministry.
This project will make it
possible for Company Directors,
Professionals, Financial Institutions
and other Authorized Signatories
to do e-filing with the MCA,
using a secure mode of communication.
One of the pre-requisites
for e-filing requires every
individual to acquire a Digital
Signature Certificate (DSC)
from a Licensed Certifying
Authority (CA), licensed by
the Govt of India under the
Information Technology Act
(IT Act), 2000.
